Academic Portfolio

Throughout my education and beyond, I’ve remained invested in analytical projects that attempt to under-stand language, culture, and the human experience through the lens of genre, art, and literature. I typically have at least a few side projects on the back burner that keep me very in-touch with my academic roots.
My focuses include social media communications, science fiction, and deconstructive/psychoanalytic perspectives. Projects like my tumblr archival analysis (presented at Weber’s NULC 2022) explores how memes and the online space witness an archival instinct. Other projects include my in-depth analysis of Marvel’s WandaVision series (presented at LTUE 2022) and MoonKnight series (presented at LTUE 2023). This style of academic writing allows us to engage in the social and cultural process of understanding who we are.
